How It All Started...
I don't have any intention of becoming a blogger, but a mindset with a strong desire pushed me. Basically, I graduated in B.Tech information technology from Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. Like my classmates and elders in my family, I started to search for jobs after my studies. I worked as an SEO executive and web researcher in a few companies. This work experience gave me some basic knowledge of digital marketing and website optimization.
Career Shift from IT to Event Management...
I am getting bored of doing the same routine repeatedly. At one stage, I was stuck and found myself caught in the dark. Because I witnessed no career progress and this situation made me shift into a new creative career - Event Management.
I love always being a creative person, and this business allowed me to pursue my creative passion. My family never supported me in the early stages and I know it happens with everyone.
Fast forward to today, I have successfully thrived for over 12 years in this Event Management business. To be frank, I built this business from the ground up with nothing. All I had was my passion and a strong desire to achieve something great.
A New Curiosity Sparked - My Love for WordPress...
Let us rewind through my past when I was working with a web development company. My core responsibility is to maintain client websites and handle client interactions.
My job role involves updating content, managing daily social media posts, and ensuring things are running smoothly. Sometimes I used to ask how these websites are built.
This one question kept haunting me and finally paved the way for a new journey. That's when I discovered the magic of WordPress.
The WordPress - A Turning Point In My Blogging Career
Slowly, I started learning about WordPress, and its history, explored how websites are built, and gained some personal experience.
WordPress gave me a feel like a personal web developer!
It created my curiosity further and I started building websites from free platforms.
I never felt a lack of coding skills, yet, I can build dynamic, fully functional websites using WordPress. I gained some experience over the period and I started teaching others in my office.
